Who can benefit from DMI therapy or physical therapy services?

All children demonstrating a gross motor delay can benefit from physical therapy. Children diagnosed with the following are also treated:

  • Global gross motor delay
  • Down Syndrome/genetic and chromosomal abnormalities
  • Brain Injury/spinal cord injury
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Hypotonia/Hypertonia
  • Torticollis
  • Severe Plagiocephaly
  • Hydrocephalus
  • Children born premature

What age would most benefit from serves at Mat-Su Pediatric Physical Therapy?

We specialize in treating infants and toddlers age zero to five. Early intervention is critical in developing gross motor skills and motor coordination. If your child is older and you would like them to be seen, please call and speak with our therapist to see if it would be a good fit for your family.

How do I schedule appointments?

Please call or email our therapist. You can find contact information under the contact header. You may also ask your pediatrician or referring provider to fax a referral and our therapist will contact you with in a week.

What insurance do you accept and do I need a referral?

Mat-Su Pediatric PT is contracted with Medicaid, Aetna, BlueCross BlueShield, and Tricare. If you have another insurance, please contact us and we can help you.
We also accept cash pay, with a discount. We understand the burden and hardship therapy services can take on families and want to work with you to provide quality care.

Referrals are needed for insurance purposes and can be obtained through your primary provider or specialist.

Where is the office located?

We provide services in the child’s home with at least one parent or caregiver present.

We also provide an in-home studio therapy option in Wasilla, Alaska. Please call or email for location details.
